Gornji Obod - Stražišće (path of Ronald Brown)

Access to starting point:
The starting point of the path is in the settlement Gornji Obod (3 km from Cavtat) near the bus stop.

Route description:
From the information board of the path of Ronald Brown we go on a concrete road upwards. The road leads among houses and at the last house passes into a footpath.
After a few minutes, the path joins the cart track which we follow to the turn-off for the village Velji Do.
The path is easy and it is slowly ascending in zig-zags. All the time we have a breathtaking view on Cavtat and Dubrovnik with surroundings.
After an hour and a half of walking, we get to the village Velji Do, where we continue on the asphalt road left towards the center of the village.
At the information board of local fauna we leave the road and we continue on the mountain path towards the summit of Stražišće.
The path at first gives an impression, that it is overgrown, but it quite quickly again opens and offers a view on all sides.
From the information board to the top of Stražišće is approximately 30 minutes of walking.
