Gornja Radgona (Maistrov trg) - Radgona castle

Access to starting point:
A) We leave the Pomurska motorway at the exit Lenart v Slovenskih goricah, then follow the road in the direction of Gornja Radgona. When we arrive in Gornja Radgona, we drive past the turn-off towards Radgonski grad, then turn left about 100 meters ahead, where we take the road that bypasses the Špital museum on the right side, after which we park in the parking lot by the road.
B) We drive to Radenci, then follow the road towards Gornja Radgona. Through the town, we follow the signs for Maribor, before the parish church of St. Peter, which we notice on the right on a small hill, we turn right, where we bypass the Špital museum on the right side, after which we park in the parking lot by the road.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we head to Aleja velikih, where we walk past busts, then bypass the house at Maistrov trg 4 on the right. Further, we walk along Čremošnikova ulica, which is paved with slabs, ascending partly past a few houses and partly through the forest. Higher up, we reach an asphalt road, which we follow to the right, continuing past houses. This road, which mainly ascends moderately, we follow to the parking lot in front of Radgonski grad.
For access to the castle park and further into the castle, an entrance fee must be paid.
