Dolenji Novaki - Partisan hospital Franja

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Cerkno, and then we follow the signs for Bolnica Franja. We park on the well-maintained parking lot next to the nearby inn.
B) We can also reach the starting point from the Gorenjska direction, namely through Davča or Leskovica.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the well-maintained tourist path, from which already after a few meters a marked path to Porezen branches off to the left. We continue straight and past numerous information boards we ascend to the entrance into the narrower part of the Pasica gorge. Here we get help from wooden stairs, a railing and on some spots also overhangs against falling stones. This well-maintained path, which all the time runs by the stream, which has also some smaller waterfalls, we follow all the way to the renovated wooden shacks of Bolnica Franja.
To view the Franja Hospital it is necessary to pay an entrance fee.
