Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Dobrovo pri Ljubljani and ahead to Polhov Gradec. At the bus stop in Polhov Gradec we turn right towards Črni Vrh. After the initial ascent the steepness of the road decreases and ahead it runs over the castle manor. Less than a kilometer from here we come to a crossroad, where we go left over the bridge (straight Selo). The road then brings us to a large meadow after which it starts to ascend more steeply. The road after the ascent brings us to the quarry and soon after that makes a sharp right turn. Soon after that it also makes a sharp left turn. Only a few meters after that turn a road towards Smolnikar branches off to the right. We go on this road which at first descends, and then it starts ascending. When after a few hundred meters from the crossroad on the right side of the road we notice a parking lot, we park.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue forward and soon we arrive in the village. In the village there is a crossroad and we continue on the right road which goes straight. Here the road starts descending and after a short descent brings us to the second part of the village. We follow the road to the last house in the village and only a few meters before the last house we go left on a cart track. We follow this cart track over a small saddle only a few meters to the spot, where we leave the path. We go left into the forest. We reach the peak in less than five minutes of walking on pathless terrain through the forest.
The orientation is difficult in the fog.

Ran into a very unfriendly farmer in Smolnik, chases away all hikers... maybe he had a bad day...
