Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Kamnik, then we continue along the regional road through Tuhinjska dolina. Just a little after the village Laze v Tuhinju, we will reach the gas station, beside which a road branches off to the left towards the villages Golice, Češnjice v Tuhinju and Okrog pri Motniku. Here we turn left and quickly reach the settlement Češnjice v Tuhinju along a somewhat narrower road, where there is a sports field. We park in a suitable place beside the road before or behind the village.
B) From the Maribor - Ljubljana highway, we take the Vransko exit, then we continue driving towards Kamnik. Just a little after the Kozjak pass (pass between Gorenjska and Štajerska), we will reach the gas station, beside which a road branches off to the right towards the villages Golice, Češnjice v Tuhinju and Okrog pri Motniku. Here we turn right and quickly reach the settlement Češnjice v Tuhinju along a somewhat narrower road, where there is a sports field. We park in a suitable place beside the road before or behind the village.
Route description:
From Češnjice v Tuhinju we continue on the main road, which through a strip of forest quickly brings us to the village Okrog pri Motniku, where a poorly marked footpath branches off to the left towards Menina planina, and we continue on the road, which soon loses its asphalt surface. Above the village the road turns sharply left, and then from the left two paths from the settlement Okrog pri Motniku join us, a little further we arrive at a marked junction, where we continue right in the direction of Dom na Bibi. Further on, the road ascends transversely to the right, mostly leading us through the forest. When the forest ends higher up, we soon reach a left bend, where the path from the pass Lipa joins from the right. We continue on the road, which with nice views reaching as far as Snežnik, in a few minutes of further walking brings us to the junction, where a path to Dom na Biba planini branches off to the right. At the mentioned junction we continue right and in one minute of further walking arrive at the mentioned hut.

The road is currently not passable by car, as there is a remnant of a snow slide in the upper part. But you can get quite high.
Today such very strong wind and fog (clouds), that despite pleasant 5°C outside for winter conditions, had to turn back..
