Brezovica - Markova glava (lookout cliff)

Access to starting point:
A) From the direction of Podturn pri Dolenjskih Toplicah we drive towards Črnomelj; just below the top of the Brezovica pass, on the left we notice a turn-off for the nearby quarry. We take this exit and immediately park at an appropriate place by the road.
B) From the direction of Črnomelj we drive towards Podturn pri Dolenjskih Toplicah and immediately, when we drive over the Brezovica pass, on the right we notice a turn-off for the nearby quarry. We take this exit and immediately park at an appropriate place by the road.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we head onto the forest road on the right side (opposite the direction of the quarry). We walk along the road for approximately 200 m, where at the power line pole we turn left onto a footpath. The path ascends steeply for approximately 5 minutes; after the left turn, the steepness eases and in two longer, gentle hairpin turns we ascend over the slope. Then the path turns inward and when we step onto the forest logging trail, we shortly ascend along it. At the top of the logging trail ascent it turns into a footpath; here we are also at the highest point of the path. Now follows a 5-minute descent to the panoramic wall. Just before the wall, when we already see the cross, the marked path from Črmošnjice joins from the right.
The path is easy to follow both in summer and in winter.
