Access to starting point:
From the road Maribor - Dravograd we drive to the settlement Brezno, where we park in the settlement. Best at the cemetery near the parish church of St. Mary of the Assumption.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the road which continues north from the church and further leads along the stream Brezniški potok. Along the stream Brezniški potok we ascend approximately 1 hour, and then we get to a marked crossroad, where we continue left in the direction of Remšnik (straight - Brezni Vrh and Kapla).
We continue on the road which at first leads through Kelnerjev graben, and higher the road withdraws from the graben onto the slopes, over which we ascend diagonally. Higher blazes from the road direct us to the left into the forest, through which we ascend more steeply, following the poorly trodden path in the direction of the blazes. Higher, we leave the forest and through a meadow we ascend to the cart track, on which we continue to the nearby church of St. Jurij on Remšnik.
