Access to starting point:
From Dobrova we drive towards Horjul or vice versa. When we arrive in the village Brezje pri Dobrovi, we will notice on the right side of the road (from the direction of Dobrova) signs for the mountain hut Dom na Ključu. We turn onto this road and follow it through the village to the spot where it changes into macadam. Further ahead a sign informs us that we continue driving on our own responsibility. We follow this road, which is quite steep, to one of the parking lots by the road. Below in the village there are no parking spots.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road alongside which we parked. The increasingly worse road then soon brings us to a path junction, where we have two options for continuing. We turn left onto a steep footpath which through the forest in 20 minutes brings us to the Dom na Ključu (if we continue straight the path is a little longer but less steep).
From the hut, we continue on the left side along the path which moderately ascends along the indistinct summit ridge covered with forest and after 15 minutes of ascent from the hut brings us to the logbook box on the top of Ključ.

The trail from Brezovica over Brezoviški vrh to Brezje, to Ključ and back, already walked many times, was today also skied/skied in touring ski style from my and Franci's side. Although we missed about 50 meters of altitude for sunshine and nice views, this 5-hour trail was very good for fitness. The snow on the trail was very wet and heavy, especially sticky, but it was worth it. On the whole tour, we managed to make about twenty turns, but as Franci says: "Touring skiing is movement in nature!". I agree. Best regards, Andrej

The road beyond the "Use at your own risk" sign is no longer drivable for ordinary cars, especially when wet and with leaves on the road. The ditches across the road are quite deep. 4x4 and tractors can still make it. Already at least two vehicles have got stuck on Lotos.
