Brela - Biokovsko oko (Šuplja stina) (on Napoleon's Road)

Access to starting point:
On the Adriatic Highway (D8 road) between Split and Brela, approximately 4.5 km after the turnoff towards Imotski/highway, we reach a junction where the right turnoff leads downhill to the town of Brela.
We turn left (sign Napoleon's Road/Mountain Hut "Bukovac").
We drive uphill on the road and after 300m arrive at a larger parking lot, where we park.

Route description:
From the parking lot we go uphill on the road. After 100m we take the left turnoff and continue on the road towards the Brela climbing area.
The asphalt road becomes narrower. After approximately 800 m from the parking lot we leave the road and continue left on the gravel road towards the Brela climbing area.
After 200m we leave the gravel road and continue right uphill towards Sv. Nikola/Gornja Brela.
Along the well-marked hiking trail we overcome the incline while enjoying beautiful views.
Just above 500 m we arrive at the natural phenomenon of the Brides' Walls (Nevistina stina). On the information board we can read the legend about this natural feature.
A few meters further we reach a junction. Straight ahead the path leads to the church of Sv. Nikola, we continue right towards "Pakline".
At first we walk on the left side of the ridge, higher up we reach the ridge along which we continue until we reach the window. Along the way we enjoy views in all directions. The path is easy and very well marked.
