Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled and forward towards Bohinjska Bistrica. From Bohinjska Bistrica we continue left in the direction of Tolmin and Soriška planina. We follow this road to a large parking lot near the ski center Soriška planina.
From Železniki we drive towards Podbrdo or vice versa, but only to a spot, where signs for Soriška planina point us on an ascending road. We follow this road to a large parking lot by the foot of the ski slope Soriška planina.
Route description:
From the parking lot on Bohinjsko sedlo we go on a macadam road in the direction of the mountain hut Litostrojska koča on Soriška planina. After less than 5 minutes of a light ascent, we get to the mentioned mountain hut from which a view opens up on the nearby grassy slopes of surrounding peaks.
From the mountain hut, we continue on a marked path in the direction of Šavnik, Možic and Lajnar. After a few dozen steps of walking, we come to a less noticeable junction, where the path branches off slightly to the right towards Možic (sign on a tree, straight Lajnar). We go on the mentioned path, which is further gently ascending by the edge of grassy slopes of Soriška planina. A little higher, the marked path turns to the right and starts ascending steeper through a lane of thin forest and bushes. The path soon leaves the forest and brings us into a smaller valley, by the edge of which we then ascend to an old military barracks (barracks converted into sheep stable, by which there is smaller shepherd cabin).
From barracks past a smaller chapel we ascend on an indistinct ridge, where from the left side joins the path from Lajnar. We continue straight downwards (left on a grassy ridge summit Slatnik 5 minutes) on the path which starts descending towards a smaller saddle, where there is the next junction.
We continue straight (left downwards Šavnik) on an old military mule track, that starts slightly ascending. This pleasant path we then follow all the way to the top of Možic, and we reach it after few minutes of additional walking.

Does anyone know if there are stamps at the top of Slatnik, Lajnar and Možic?

Yesterday on Možic, which I barely found due to the terrible fog and wind. The fog thickened right after leaving Litostrojska koča and persisted all day, so there was almost nothing of the supposedly wonderful view, I only caught a few glimpses towards the Karavanke. Upon arriving in Bohinj Valley, I noticed that the fog had chosen Možic out of all the peaks of the Lower Bohinj Mountains and didn't move from it all day. I'll return some other time when there's no fog.

Similar weather was also on Saturday afternoon. One lady gave me a bit of motivation, it's nicer up there, sunny, but the fog started quite soon. If I didn't know the path at least approximately, I would probably have turned back soon, but I persevered to the top anyway, hoping for sun rays and views. Sun for a total of a minute, view towards Karavanke for a second. One photo succeeded though.

Today was a wonderful day on the peaks above Soriška planina! Mostly sunny and windy, in between it clouded over but cleared again, clouds persisted above Črna prst. Wonderful views, also to Triglav and Bohinjsko jezero. My main goal was Možic, via direct path I huffed to the top in less than an hour (description says 1.15, I think it exaggerates), and I'm not fast at all. (Now a forest road is built to the barracks.) Then I circled past Slatnik back to Soriška planina. There were about ten hikers around here today, otherwise peace, views, sun, clouds, wind ... Even some flowers I met, real "flowers in autumn". Mountain greetings!

On 31.10. we with 4 and 6 year olds hiked the circular path to Možic, Šavnik, Slatnik, Lajnar and Dravh. It took us 4h 30min (very easy and with short stops at the summits), 621m elevation gain, total 9.5 km. Highly recommend for families with small children. We set off in quite heavy fog first to Kor, then to Možic. We continued to nearby Šavnik. When we returned to the chapel, we commended ourselves to Mary of Kor to drive away the clouds so we could see more than just around us, and after a few minutes walking towards Slatnik the sky really cleared. So we spotted nearby Porezen and Ratitovec, which we did last year, then headed to Lajnar, and finally ascent to Dravh and descent to Brunarica on Soriska planina, where a friendly lady served us excellent hot chocolate with cream. Very satisfied

Very nice and special winter tour. I warmly recommend visiting at least two summits. Before 9 am the parking lot is empty, when the ski slope opens you wait for a free spot (holidays + today was an exceptionally nice day). Early morning the path to Kora summit was mostly icy. The same for the section to Možic and the section from northwest Slatnik to southeast. To Dravh hard ground right below the summit. Probably like this for a few more days...LP
