Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we take the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled and onwards towards Bohinjska Bistrica. From Bohinjska Bistrica we continue left in the direction of Tolmin and Soriška planina. We then follow this road to a large parking lot near the ski center Soriška planina.
From Železniki we drive towards Podbrdo or vice versa, but only to the spot where signs for Soriška planina direct us onto an ascending road. We then follow this road to a large parking lot at the foot of the ski area Soriška planina.
Route description:
From the parking lot on Bohinjsko sedlo we go on a macadam road in the direction of the Litostrojska koča mountain hut on Soriška planina. After less than 5 minutes of a light ascent, we arrive at the mentioned mountain hut from which a view opens up on the nearby grassy slopes of surrounding peaks.
From the hut we continue on a marked path in the direction of Šavnik, Možic and Lajnar. After a few dozen steps we come to a less noticeable junction, where the path branches off slightly to the right towards Možic, and we continue straight in the direction of Lajnar. The path ahead first ascends gently by the edge of the ski lift, and then begins to ascend somewhat more steeply towards the saddle between Lajnar on the left and Mali Slatnik on the right.
After approximately half an hour of walking we reach the mentioned saddle, where there is a junction of several paths. We continue left in the direction of Dravh and Lajnar (right Slatnik, Šavnik and Možic) on the path which ascends along and over the panoramic ridge. The mentioned path, which runs along the pasture fence, brings us to the summit of Lajnar in a few minutes of additional ascent.

The trip can be extended to the following destinations: Dravh

I did this trip today after lunch, I can say that it's worth visiting at this time, as you won't miss blueberries along the path, which children especially enjoy. At the top it usually blows, but the view is nice on Sorica, Davča, Porezen and other places in the valley. I recommend it also to families with preschool children.

Yesterday I quickly conquered the second half of the peaks above Soriška planina. In half an hour across the ski slope to Dravh, then a hop to Lajnar. Initially it looked sunny, but unfortunately it clouded over at the top and a cold wind blew, so I preferred to descend back and didn't continue to Slatnik. Views wonderful nevertheless, even some late flowers still found so high. Interesting sign at the saddle below Lajnar that it's still 1:15h descent to Litostrojska koča, but you're there in at most half an hour! Obviously the time marks on Soriška planina are greatly exaggerated and can mislead someone... Preparations for the new ski season are underway at the ski slope, only snow is missing. Peaks above Soriško are always great, because you can decide on the spot how many to conquer this time, depending on weather, time, mood... Therefore I warmly recommend them. Best mountain regards!

Hello, I'm interested in how long a circular path from Litostrojska hut with views of Lajnar, Dravh and Slatnik would take.

About 3 hours you'll need. Wait until May when everything is in bloom. Go to Možic too.
