Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice, we take the Ljubelj exit and follow the road ahead in the direction of Tržič. Just before the gas station at Tržič, we turn right (direction Tržič) and then immediately left (direction Begunje) and drive further to the village Brezje pri Tržiču. In the village Brezje pri Tržiču, at the top of the ascent, we turn right towards Bistriška planina. After approximately 100 meters, we come to the crossroad, where we turn right onto the forest road. The road, which ascends quite steeply further on, brings us after some time to Bistriška planina, where we park on the parking lot by the road (Brezje pri Tržiču - Bistriška planina 3.1 km, of which 2.6 km macadam).
Route description:
From the parking lot at Bistriška planina we continue on a macadam road which after a short ascent brings us to Breška planina, which we recognize by a wooden cottage. The worsening road then brings us to a crossing, where we continue right on a steep cart track in the direction of Lešanska planina. The cart track on which we then ascend has some crossings, but if we follow the blazes it brings us to the mentioned mountain pasture without any bigger problems, from which a nice view opens up on Storžič and Tolsti vrh.

The trail itself wasn't strenuous - but the hut landlady was quite unfriendly. So neither me nor the group liked it. We won't come again!

Too bad I didn't see this post earlier. I stopped on the way to Dobrča. Both were really friendly and obliging. I arranged to stop on the way back and sour milk was waiting for me. We also climbed up. So I can't say anything negative.

Yes, shepherds/caretakers change constantly (they explained to us), to me the visit seemed like paradise on earth: authentic service and attitude, pleasant chat, really phenomenal food- sour milk, cottage cheese and musovnek (shepherd's dish) never eaten before, but we licked the plates clean. They gave water to the dogs, children played with rabbits and the caretakers' children. They care for as little packaging as possible and local products (brandy, tea, Vipi ... ). They also explained everything about hiking trails and tours in the area. We even laughed and sang together. Mr. Cveto is really funny, I hope his health will allow him to the mountains and we'll see each other again.
