Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana–Maribor highway take the Šentrupert exit, then continue driving in the direction of Mozirje and Logarska dolina. At the beginning of Mozirje from the roundabout turn right in the direction of the settlement Bele Vode, then further follow the signs for Šoštanj, Lepe Njive and Bele Vode. The road then soon brings us to Lepa Njiva, where we continue straight in the direction of Bele Vode. A little further, we come to a crossroads, where the road towards Sveti Florjan and Šoštanj branches off to the right. Here we continue straight on the road in the direction of Bele Vode, and we drive along it all the way to the church of St. Andrew, where we park on a well-maintained asphalt parking lot.
B) From Ljubno ob Savinji or Gornji Grad drive to Mozirje, from there from the roundabout near the Hofer store continue in the direction of Bele Vode. A little after the settlement Ljubija we arrive at a crossroads, where we continue slightly right in the direction of the signs for Šoštanj, Lepe Njive and Bele Vode.
C) Drive to Šoštanj, where from the roundabout at TEŠ continue in the direction of Bele Vode. After the bridge over the river Paka and after the railway line at the crossroads continue straight in the direction of Bele Vode and also in the following crossroads follow the mentioned direction. We then arrive at the church of St. Andrew in Bele Vode, where we park.
Route description:
From the parking lot at the church, we continue on the road ahead and after about 10 minutes it brings us to a crossroads, where we continue right upwards in the direction of Sleme and the hunting lodge. The road ahead ascends past individual farms partly through the forest, partly over grassy slopes from which a beautiful view opens up on the surrounding hills. Further, the road brings us to the next crossroads, where we continue on the right road, which in a few minutes brings us to the hunting lodge.
The road then bypasses the indistinct Tolsti vrh, after which we come to a path junction. We continue straight in the direction of Andrejev dom (left Smrekovec). The road ahead ascends gently for some time, then it starts to descend more steeply. Towards the end of the descent, the signs for Andrejev dom direct us to the right onto a side road along which in a few steps we come to the hut.
Along the route: Lovska koča Smrekovec (1010m)

Discussion about the trip Bele Vode (Sveti Andrej) - Andrejev dom na Slemenu

today walked the circular path: - Bele Vode (Sveti Andrej) to Andrejev dom na Slemenu (this part of the path is very annoying, as it runs along the road all the way, and the signs at intersections are only for Smrekovec, so I absolutely recommend printing the above text, and there are no markings either) - then from Andrejev dom to Dom na Smrekovcu (part of the path we return as if going back to Bele Vode, but when we leave the road, a really pleasant walk through the forest begins and the markings are also clearly visible, I'd say new ones. At the junction I suggest not choosing the road variant but through Bukov gozd) - finally from Smrekovec back to Bele Vode (again almost 40 minutes of walking along the road from Repšak to Sveti Andrej) all together 6 and a half hours of walking with a break at Smrekovcu

The path is nicely marked (only the signs on the wooden boards have faded) and suitable for children. In the hut they have excellent blueberry strudel
