Bukovnik - Koča na Grohatu (by road)

Access to starting point:
We drive to Luče (to here from Mozirje or over Kranjski rak) and follow the road ahead towards Logarska dolina, but only to the village Solčava, where we turn right towards Podolševa and Črna na Koroškem. The road, which is ascending, brings us after some time to a crossroad, where we turn right in the direction of Črna. Higher up the road brings us to a crossroad on the mountain pass Spodnje Sleme. Here we turn right in the direction of Koča na Grohatu and Bukovnik. We soon come to the next crossroad, where to the left (straight) a traffic-closed forest road to Grohat branches off. Here we park on one of the smaller parking lots by the road.

Route description:
From the car we head to the upper left road, which already after a few dozen meters crosses the barrier. Only a little further we come to the spot where a footpath branches off left upwards. We continue on the road, which for a short time descends, and then brings us to a crossroad, where we continue left. The road then in a moderate ascent brings us out of the forest to grassy slopes along which we reach the Koča na Grohatu.
