Obviously this Tooth is still milky, since the name at the elevation appears only on newer hiking maps. Before it was an unnamed summit of the eastern ridge of Kanjavec, which was more in climbers' domain. From afar nice-looking monolith, doesn't show weak approach points, for walkers only the ridge variant from Kanjavec is useful.
Yesterday I visited it unplanned after planned visit to Kanjavec and it was more conditioning in nature from start in Krma. Day was very favorable weather-wise, sun which wasn't bothersome first shone on me only at start of Velska valley, though I started only at half past seven.
Since I was quite late for mountains, parking in Krma was quite full, as Triglav without tower is very attractive. To Malo polje where I turned left quite a few Triglav-goers went, towards Bohinjska vrata, Vodnik hut, and along Velska valley, but I didn't pass anyone anymore.
After lukewarm tea in hut, immediately continue on upper path so not to lose height over Veliko polje. To junction of lower path the trail is overly cut, higher in Velska valley with heavy dew I'd be wet to shoulders. Since I've walked this path many times, also didn't go right to Dolič pass but bushwhacked straight up scree slope to Hribarice.
When I reached top, horizon due to hazes wasn't as clear as morning, but with half day ahead I headed along ridge to my summit. Little ridge easy all the way, stopped only at top of meter-lower forepeak where I stowed poles. Descent to notch still fairly easy, in notch though hard-to-pass unstable boulders which had to be climbed with max attention. Otherwise short scramble to Zob summit was a shade easier. At summit there's anchor which of course I didn't use:

Nice Tone, gotta add it to the list. Is that peak in pic 8 Glava behind the gully?

Yes Matjaž, probably holds. But (named) I can't trace it on any map. Ha ha, photographed it because of that, since it was that moment when I stepped on Kanjavec summit, the only hill in sun, elsewhere mists appeared which luckily later nicely cleared.

I don't have this Zob on my list either, cuz I haven't traced it named anywhere, not even in Name Book
of Julian Alps by dr. Tuma. But it always tempted me. Gotta add it and visit.

True cenc, the more you look at (newer) hiking maps, more new (named) peaks appear. But for me it's fine that way, otherwise only handful of home summits left for me...

Tone, such "Teeth" additionally tease us pathless ones. There are still quite a few nameless summits in our hills, so for me at least, some experience with them is always very welcome. Because of them the lists of Slovenian two-thousanders won't be complete and final for quite some time. And that's right.
Keep enjoying the conquest of the "handful". Vinko

I completely agree with you, Vinko, and thanks. Some 'chosen' will remain untouched from my side, but the world won't collapse on me.
