We start in Žlebe and ski up the ski slope to the Gilberti hut, which is open. In beautiful sunny weather we continue to the Bela peč saddle. Here our goal appears. The summer path is deep under snow, so we descend below the rock step and continue towards the Peravo saddle, where the bivouac awaits us. From the bivouac to the peak the path on the southern slopes is bare and the ascent presents no difficulties. Views into Resia Valley, as well as far to the horizon, are beautiful.
A tour without skis or snowshoes can be real agony on the return.

From Žlebe - Planina Gorjuda - Oslova jama - Bivak Marušič - peak - saddle in Senožeče - Bila peč saddle - Vrh Bile peči - back to Žlebe.
Before snowfall, path without features, in some places towards the planina even mown, and from the planina onwards much better trodden than in previous years.

Vrh Grubje, until recently completely unknown peak to me, but after the suggestion I got enthusiastic quickly. Sure, if Lojze suggests a peak , it can't be a bad choice. Later I realized it's often mentioned just en passant, as a link between Vrh Krnice and Žrd.
But yesterday it proved worthy of a standalone visit, especially if you plan swimming in Rabeljsko Lake on return, which now is just the right refreshment.
On the path still some flowers, crossing short snowfield just adds variety to the tour. Along the way we spot several branches in different directions, but we don't let ourselves be diverted.
At the summit space for rest and views you can only dream of. Plenty to see, Montaž with neighbors and pastures below is main star, but view to Muzec and Zajavor, distant Mangart, Jalovec, M.Serniu, Zuc dal Bor, Amariana really stands out. Can't miss it.
Conclusion, as said, at Rabeljsko Lake, which after tour around here is now the best choice
