Yesterday in pleasant company hoping for some freshness I drove to Vogel ski resort and further with Orlove glave chairlift.
At the starting point it was already properly hot at 8 in the morning without a breeze. Alone on the gondola, alone on the chairlift and on to Vogel summit.
On the path some small snow patches which could be easily walked over or bypassed. On the steepest parts of the path it was bare so crampons stayed in the backpack. Snow melted so fast in the scorching sun that the footprints were erased in just a few minutes. In a day or so the path will probably be completely bare.

From Vogel to Šija we met quite a few foreign tourists, from Šija to Rodica and further we again enjoyed solitude. Around 11 it started blowing lightly, wind strengthened over the day so walking despite scorching sun became more pleasant. Three liters of water barely sufficed to reach the valley.

The path is very nice and suitable for all lovers of mountain strolling, as no excessive elevation meters need to be overcome and no trembling at every step. While brains were grazing, eyes just couldn't get enough of beautiful flowers and views, soul filled with peace and beauties of wonderful nature.

At the end of the path still good 1,400 elevation meters descent to Bohinj Lake and deserved refreshment.

The forecasted clearness lured me to Lower Bohinj Mountains on first autumn day. I started walking at Ski hotel on Rjava skala from where first descended to Zadnji Vogel pasture then climbed to Vogel. Around 11.00 clouds started gathering and instead of forecasted clearness fogs began rolling from Primorska side. As usual the ridge of Lower Bohinj Mountains mostly successfully held them and Gorenjska with Triglav stayed in sun.
My path continued in clouds to Šija and further to saddle Čez Suho. For Rodica which showed momentarily from mists time ran out. So descended to Suha pasture and further to Bohinj Lake.
Nice calm day. Until 12.00 enjoyed pleasant solitude. Afterwards met only handful of hikers.

Today we walked the Orlove glave - Rodica - Vogel - Orlove glave path. Gorgeous day, weather as almost always brilliant in the morning, could see from Montaž, Viš, Kanin, Rombon, and Bavški Grintavec all the way to Rjavina, Viševnik, Debele Peči and pastures on Pokljuka. Later weather "spoiled" and Triglav hid. Cloud base stayed constantly between 2600 - 2700 m. We just caught the cable car, runs 8.00 - 16.00, we hopped on at 15.59! Super tour, warmly recommend it to you mežikanje

On Monday we walked from Orlove glave to Šija, Vogel and descent to Razor pasture. From there back same way to Šija, then continued to Rodica and Črna prst where we overnighted. Next day descent past Orožnova hut to Boh. Bistrico.
Paths without special features, just lots of liquid needed for all-day hike. Along the path plenty of flowers, domestic and wild animals so time doesn't drag.
As predecessor wrote: "super tour"!
