Vitovska circular path

A few more pics for pleasure since they can't be attached under *Commented trips*. Briefly on conditions ... Everything is well marked, some snow tongues on the Trnovo side are melting away and not obstructing. April is an ideal time for a visit, no crowds to fear nasmeh

Super trail. Is there maybe some description of this path? I understand it goes to Veliki Rob, but don't know how the loop is routed?
Thanks!!

I'm also interested where you started?
By the church I once went past Vitovlje Lake.
To Veliki Rob I usually come from take-off at Krnica and go past that house

This time we walked a slightly extended loop of the Vitovska circular path to Modrasovci, returning lower down the Čavensko slope via Mala gora to Vitovlje.

It showed here that the cross path from the hut on Mala gora below Kuclje (marked on the Nanos map 1:50.000 2007) is not traceable in nature, or runs quite differently than drawn. Likewise, no signposts or marks in that direction are traceable.

Experts, correct me if wrong, but the path overall is very nice and scenic, on the return it runs on soft paths nasmeh.

A bit of caution due to ticks won't hurt.

Bagi, congrats for that long loop. The path which is drawn is located about 200 height meters below Mala gora, i.e. on Mala gora it should go to the valley not to the hill and some sign should be there, but if good company then many little paths are overlooked velik nasmeh. The path is called Srednjecavenska and goes directly from tunnels to Vitovska church. Of course the path is worth a visit as it crosses Čavensko ridge fully, lp and luck.

Two years ago a part of the Middle Čaven trail near the Hut on Mali gori successfully hid from us. Discovering the secret came this weekend with a forecast of nice weather on the Primorska.

Markings at the key spot are still missing. Where the forest road starts it's exactly as @BT88 wrote a few posts back. Part of the trail actually runs along it. Everything else on our circular trail is excellently marked, snow is only on the slopes above the Hut on Čavn towards Modrasovec, or Golak.

We started in the upper part of Vitovelj. There are not many parking spaces anywhere1
In the healing grove above the church we turned right onto Srednječavenska pot2
Some morning clouds gave us a beautiful sunrise3

The Srednječavenska path is extremely comfortable. It mostly runs almost horizontally, changing levels only occasionally.6
We still continue straight ahead towards Predmeja.7
Occasionally we cross some scree fields.8
Hunting society bivouac in the middle of the forest. Here we leave the Srednječavenska path and head towards Mali gori.9
The markers lead us directly along the road, which has been completely newly widened.10
Towards Mali gori, with a hut just before it.11

On the northern slopes there is quite some compacted, slippery snow.20
The hut on Čavn was open, with quite a few guests.21
We returned along the upper edge. Our next target was Kucelj.22

There is something to it and coincidence wanted us to meet at the top of Kucelj. Earlier already at night on Triglav, when we waited for the sunrise.
Bagi and the lady who was with you, I think 3 or 4 years ago I descended in your company from Travnik. (we descended off-trail) that nice trail that you kindly showed me I visited many times after.
Have a super time, and keep wandering like that.velik nasmeh

Bagi, great loop!
If you come again, there's a large parking lot between the villages Vitovlje and Užiče... it's called "event space"..

BT88 you could have tugged my sleeve, because I didn't even look around properly.
We really descended together from Travnik, but my colleague was with us, who knows those areas well and knows all the hidden trails. Those areas are a bit out of our range, so we visit them usually once a year, then with joy and pleasure.
They are closer to you, if I remember right.
To you too as many nice and friendly trails and tug me when we meet next timevelik nasmeh
