Yesterday nice tour to the mentioned peaks. Path without features, except on the path from High Kanin to Little Kanin some triangle markers are very poorly visible. At the top fog, lots of visitors. From Prestreljenik Window onwards nice secured paths (suitable for kids with proper gear) to Prestreljenik. Nice mountaineer's greeting.

After Buški marathon 42km+22km we said this weekend for mountains. I decided last minute Friday while biking to work. Sunlit Prestreljenik caught my eye, and I said That's It!! We thought Kanin cablecar ended summer season and not running anymore so plenty of peace. We got up at 1:30am, since no coffee no go we did the ritual and to Gozdec to start, from there easier walk on ski slope to Restaurant and up to Prestreljenik summit. Enjoyed windless peace and birth of new day, in mountains experienced lots ,,but such morning at this height not yet. F-A-N-T-A-Z-I-J-A!! Descended via ferrata to Okna and to Bivak where reserved two beds and towards evening to High Kanin for sunset, Returned to Bivak meanwhile two lovebirds arrived and shared this wonderfully shaped Bivak on Kanin. Morning again admired new day birth but this time strong wind, Next morning wind stopped us from ascent to Laška planja,

Yesterday ascent to Prestreljenik and High Kanin. Path along station B to ski slope in Krnica delights with fragrant meadows pampering nostrils. After Prestreljenik path continues via ferrata in poor condition, many pegs torn off. Crossing on marked path to Kanin ascent over some snow patches, no issues.

If solitary before, on Kanin meet quite foreigners come via ferrata from Gilberti hut. Italian cable car running unlike ours. Descent crumbly path south, some protections, faded marks and cairns help. Path through Zadnji dol to Gozdec traceable.

In my opinion tour that in one day roughly captures Kanin grandeur.
