Vernar and Tosc (off-trail via the NW wall)

On Sunday we did a wonderful circular tour: End of road at Pokljuka - Jezerce - Studorski pass - Vodnik hut - Bohinjska vrata - Vernar - Bohinjska vrata - Tosc (off-trail over NW wall) - Studorski pass - Jezerce - Pokljuka. The whole tour took 11 hours, with longer stops at summits.

The entire path was dry, except the section from Jezerce to Studorski pass and individual traverses in Tosc's NW wall.

The path to Vernar is extremely beautiful, scrambling on the ridge is really adrenaline-packed. The summit offers beautiful views, especially to nearby Triglav velik nasmeh

The path to Tosc over the NW wall is a real pleasure, as it requires considerable orientation and knowledge in finding passages and traverses. We reached II climbing grade in the rock. The feeling after the climbed wall is indescribable velik nasmeh

Nice, clean pictures. On the third, it's worth mentioning the very impressive Šmarjetna glava to me. (right of Kanjavec)

Rjavina-Triglav-Tosc (27.09.19)

Not opening new threads, but from the tour least said about NW wall of Tosc.
Weather was great, at times almost too warm for the season. Past bomber via Temen up to Rjavina. Descent along ridge and under Rž a bit on snowy ground to Kredarica or past it. Triglav had quite a few visitors for a Friday. Descent via Gorjanska and visit inside Planika hut. Head to Vodnik hut or cross above it to Bohinjska vrata. Interesting this NW wall of Tosc, plenty of passages. Went a bit right and up. Exit onto soft grassy terrain, to the top still some 100m elevation. A bit foggy around, so descended nicely the ascent way. Option to continue to Debele Peči and down to Krma, but another time. Descent to Krma quick.
