Fans of pathless terrain and beautiful ridge traverses who want to repeat my Saturday Trentarska adventure—the grandiose ridge traverse according to Mihelič—can view it in a detailed description with pictures and comments at the link below.

On Saturday (27.09.14) I walked the ridge between Zadnja and Spodnja Trento. From Ušje to Srebrnjak. From Srebrnjak I descended the SE slope or gully to the hunting trail, along which I crossed to the old military road (at the 24th bend). Then I continued on it to Stari Ut from where only the descent to the start (hamlet Pri Cerkvi in Zg. Trenti). nasmeh

On Saturday also with two mates on this ridge. What we didn't manage last year we tried this time. We started still in the dark at the church of St. Mary and above the second waterfall turned right towards Ušje. The path is nice in the lower part, with lots of cairns and "markers" on rocks and scrub. Above the secured passage with cable, these marks become fewer and then disappear or we obviously went too little to the right and therefore fought with scrub for a while. On steep grass slopes we observed a large herd of chamois. Higher we got back on the path and soon stood on Ušje. Further towards Plešivec there is no path or we didn't find it and again there was quite a fight with scrub.mežikanje On Plešivec we noticed a path up from the south side along some gully. Probably it's the path from Ušje, but it remained hidden from us this time. Continuing to Trentski Pelc it seemed to me there was less scrub and also quite a few cut passages. Since we stuck to the ridge we had to climb some rock steps. Difficulty already close to grade three. Descent from Trentski Pelc didn't seem too demanding to us. Only one rock step we had to overcome along a very exposed ledge on the right side. Across Ribežni we got without problems. Ascent to Srebrnjak was made nicer by the weather. Until there fog somewhat spoiled the mood, here the sun came out and with it nice views. Because of better weather and lack of gear for continuing in the backpack, we decided on Srebrnjak to descend back via Trentski Pelc to Staro Utro and from there to the valley. Nice ridge this is, full of everything you expect on such a ridge. So we will repeat it if it ever comes up, continuing to Planina Zapotok.
Regards and safe steps to all from under the beautiful Golts, Janez

Two yesterday on similar (to Plešivec, Utro, hunting trail). There behind the enclosure we immediately turned up into grassy mix, then slowly right, where soon in the forest there really was a small depression. Somewhere towards its top we caught the path again, then soon the clearing started and there was no more searching.

Further ahead we also went our own way, but I suspect it's passable from the branch for Ušje summit. To that intermediate point we climbed up the right side of the wall, then ahead there was path again. To Plešivec, after short descent, it comes over steep grassy gully.
