Redbull, thanks for the congrats. With my 58 years I can't compare to the feats that you younger rocket-powered hikers perform. Last December my wife and I saw you for the first time in the evening when you overtook us on the way to Kredarica and once again when you were already returning. For each of us speed is a quite relative concept. Years ago M&M described incredible feats in your style and for the described route it's worth reading: http://www2.arnes.si/~mcuder/tura/skrlatica_triglav.html

You can see that in 2000 you two still didn't have experience. You were short timewise, since if you started at 6am you'd at least enjoy the morning coolness for some time. For expected 10 hours of walking in summer and with greatly increased heartbeats already 3 liters are barely enough per person.
Of course heavy backpack and fast pace don't go togethervelik nasmeh

M&M are real chamois, although for 9h you kinda have to jog slowly. For 7.5h it's already pretty solid. On such long ones it helps a lot if you're used to little drinks

Good luck

I somehow don't believe these times... Don't know why but in 2 hours and 15 from bottom to top of Škrlatica it doesn't seem right to me...

Juš, these results aren't exaggerated. I, in my "best years" on 6.8.2011 with hiking gear and 11-minute stop at bivouac, stepped on the summit in 2 hours and 43 min.
Of course many wonder about the sense of such doing, but people are different.
The sharpest tongue on the forum belongs to those who need a battery for the start; on pictures from the tour they are in ten selfies.velik nasmeh

for 2h 15 without a break, if just a comparison of my 1h50, for which you have to run nonstop, except in the rocks of course.nasmeh

Škrlatica-Triglav (17.11.18)

At 5.00 I started the hike towards Škrlatica. I used winter gear for the upper part. Winter gear is necessary towards the red notch. On descent and continuation to Križ it wasn't needed (w. gear), same on B. Gamsovec and descent to Luknja. Snow on Bambergova starts very high, traverse below Plemenic summit. Bovška škrbina nicely filled, southern slab more or less bare, continuation to summit snowy. Descent to Kredarica and over Prag to the valley.
