After a longer break back in the Western Julians. Yesterday my brother Vinko and I chose the mountains above Corsi hut, which is awaiting renovation. In December strong wind tore off half of its roof covering.
Via Anita Goitan path we climbed to the notch between Wild Goat and Small Spica. First we approached Wild Goat, then also Small Spica, which is supposed to resemble a middle finger raised. However that didn't deter us from touching it. The ascent itself from A. Goitan path is short, two 30m pitches long. Belay stations are equipped, there are also two intermediate pegs.
So as not to return the same way, we continued along Anita Goitan and in between climbed two peaks (Turn and Gamsova mati).
During ascent and descent we treated ourselves to excellent coffee in the friendly Corsi hut.

Question: can you reach Viš od Corsija without winter gear?

Janez, attaching pictures of the path to Viš. As far as visible, only on the first picture you need to cross one snowfield. Since the snow is soft during the day, you shouldn't have problems. Ice axe is never too much on the backpack anyway. We didn't use winter gear anywhere yesterday.
