Pleasant and easy is the path from Cerknica to the summit of Slivnica both through the forest and across pastures with a view of the lake. On the return, we met a bunch of walkers, but we drove to Rakov Škocjan and viewed the natural sights.

Today's Slivnica from Grahovo passed in proper gloomy autumn atmosphere. nasmeh

Windy, slippery in places, but luckily no rain. Views towards the lake excellent, especially combined with mists and sunbeams.
Lots of people in the hut, exuberant atmosphere and good service!

Nicer weather than the year before last, also less water in the lake, but huge number of visitors in sunny weather. My classic path from the skittle alley was mostly dry, a bench was waiting for me at the top, since seating capacities in and in front of the hut were filled.

This morning again on Notranjska. Forecasters blew it badly, all the time I enjoyed the warm sun. The trail above the skittle alley was a bit greasy, I met only a few people. The hut open, friendly young waitress served me excellent tea for 1.5€. The bench under the summit was still damp from the night frost, so I didn't test it horizontally.

Yesterday was the right day for a jump up. The steep slope to the road through the forest was greasy, poles were excellent help. Cows and horses already grazing, self-service tea available. Just the sun for dozing on the bench right below the summit was missing.

There is rather little water for this time of year.

Idyllic villages on the edge of the lake

On days when the hut is not operating, the thirsty (boozers) are well provided for.

On Saturday Slivnica was massively visited, up there such cute witches that a trio of young guys went to watch them nine times. nasmeh

After Friday snowfall there was over 20 cm snow on the hill top, 500 m lower just raining. The sun quickly showed up, snow completely melted, right to the barn height by midday already slush, lower plenty of mud. Whoever was without good footwear, gaiters and poles drew the short straw, but martinčkanje in front of the hut outweighed the troubles for many.
