Hello! With touring skis I walked and skied a circular route: Soriška planina ski slope, along the road to the pasture under Kor and further towards the ridge. On the ridge I turn left to the unnamed peak, right the path turns down towards Možic. Does anyone know what this unnamed peak left of the path to Možic is called? From that peak I descend towards Slatnik to the saddle and ascent to Slatnik. From Slatnik I ski again towards Lajnar, and ascent to it. Then giant slalom on the far left part of the ski slope to the parking lot. LP Swiss and good luck!

If I'm right, the mentioned peak is NW Slatnik, highest peak above Soriška planina, otherwise not marked at all?

From the photo of chain and padlock on top it's SZ Slatnik - correct me if wrong. Been up many times, but winter can look different ...

This is undoubtedly NW peak Slatnik. Some confusion that Slatnik has two peaks, both well described on hribi.net anyway.

Hello! I'm very interested (I'm fussy but I think this is a mountaineering forum and I can ask) and it doesn't make sense to me that the peaks above Soriška planina belong to the Eastern Julian Alps range; I'd rather say they belong to the Lower Bohinj Mountains. There's no forum for these mountains. I'd be glad if a professional explains this dilemma to me! LP Swiss and safe in the mountains!

These are the Bohinj – Tolmin Mountains, which are part of the Eastern Julian Alps

Yes, now it's officially Bohinj-Tolmin mountains, but for me they remain Lower Bohinj mountains. Črna prst and Tolmin???

Stržišče, Kal, Bača pri Podbrdu, which are on the south side of Črna prst - which municipality do they belong to? Tolmin covers a much wider area than just the town of Tolmin. And even if not, Črna prst is part of the ridge that also includes Mahavšček, Tol. Kuk, Migovec, Vogel... which are actually above the town of Tolmin.

For me they are Peči.

On the sunny side of this ridge, we all see Peči. Most know by name only a couple of main peaks. What the experts agreed on, only a handful know. Probably future generations will also just see Peči.

After all, the hut on Črni prsti has always been taken care of by PD Podbrdo and not Bohinjska Bistrica
