Shoemakers and mountaineering/hiking gear

No, I've given the shoemaker many different products to repair, but today my little girl insists that the problem in the picture can't be repaired anymore. mrk pogled
The leather on the edge of the boot is literally cracked, supposedly due to crampons. But I think the leather tore there because when squatting the heel lifts and the boot breaks right at the joint with the toe. Something similar happened to me with boots that I never wore crampons with.

So, can this be repaired? See the picture - bottom right.

Cut it off, and it won't stick out...sometimes the simplest solution is the best cool

Pardon, in the picture bottom left.

I tried to glue it with UHU glue for leather from Merkur, but that was a short-term solution.

Go to your shoemaker so he looks at the thing and advises you how to proceed. I think the issue can be fixed (I deal with such things myself).

Karletto, I'd advise you like this. Don't know how much your shoes cost, but from my experience whatever I bought on sale or cheap never panned out. Now I buy shoes for cca. 200 to 250 €, and I tell you no more problems. I did a five-hour hike in pure water (Snežnik), I was wet like a mouse, but feet dry and warm. That was a lesson, now I even have more hiking jackets under 150€, (won't do advertising here exactly) but I tell you something, with shoes, wind jackets, and backpacks, you won't throw money away ever, and best regards m.mežikanjejezik

And maybe someone knows where to get accessories for hiking poles.
