My faithful companion and I extended the originally planned route to Koča pod Bogatinom to Bogatinsko sedlo, to check if it's also as nice on the Primorska side as on the Bohinj sidemežikanje. First time overcoming the serpentines towards Dom na Komni. True, they draaaaag on, but in these hot days they are fully shaded and pleasantly cool, the ascent mostly gentle and on nice ground, so the path didn't seem that tedious to me anyway. On Komna, the views begin that rest the eyes and soul. At Dom na Komni crowded, really worth those extra 15 minutes to Koča pod Bogatinom - much nicer there, and way fewer people. Well, when we were already there, and since the cool breeze nicely neutralized the hot sun rays, we went further to Vratca. I wasn't hot, my little dog was very much. The path is all in the sun the whole time, to the saddle we found only one lonely shade! On the path ascending very very gently, constant nice views and intoxicating flowers, at the saddle views open towards Krn and further. Crazy! If the doggie wasn't so worn out from the sun, we'd probably have jumped to Lanževica too, but we turned around and returned to the valley the same way. I didn't believe the path from Komna can really be done in the marked hour and a half, and it goes even fasterjezik. And that even if you don't cut serpentines with shortcuts and destroy all life under your feet, like many do on this pathmrk pogled.
This view already makes up for those mere two and a half hours of fairly boring path to Dom na Komni1
The path to Koča pod Bogatinom is most pleasant2

...So I don't open a new thread-
Koča pri Savici, Savica Waterfall, Ukanc.. Path to the waterfall officially still closed, but no obstacles. To Ukanc and back on nice forest path. Waterfall is wonderful, worth seeing.nasmeh
