I'm not talking about being poorly received, far from it, I mean their problems with rent and other issues. LP!

Salty water served to me instead of barley soup in Tičarjev dom has forever put me off eating there again. And they're not the only ones skimping on that. Sit down there, have a drink - no problem. Staff - ok. But that's how it starts. With something small, insignificant in the big picture. It ends with ever higher rents, dissatisfied staff, unpaid loans and bankruptcy. Maybe it's high time to privatize such financial nurseries that only benefit a handful, while the rest of us are dissatisfied.

Such a location as Tičarjev dom has is worth gold. A restaurateur/manager who can make a loss there must be a real master of his trade. I think something much dirtier is being played in the background.

julius, I accept, so I owe you an apology. They certainly have plenty of information there, but they are mainly just aware of the situation. Anyway, now everyone manages completely on their own and not like 50 years ago, when they had to take PZS into account...

PD Jesenice meeting Society members at the general assembly did not support the sale of Tičarjev dom. 12 voted for sale, 22 against, one abstained. In the discussion they highlighted that before possible sale they need more concrete financial data, asked about possible rationalization of society operations and why not publish a public tender for possible sale. Kepic resigned as president after rejection of sale proposal, as he says he has no other solution himself. Society will be led by him until regular general assembly in March next year, if members do not propose new leadership.

How can a hut be sold at all if it's owned by mountaineers. Oh boy, there really won't be trust among mountaineers anymore All those years, weeks, days, hours that some voluntarily dedicated to huts and trail maintenance then sell the hut No one will want to work voluntarily anymore.

Happy with the general assembly decision. Maybe it would make sense to obtain data on the rent per square meter in this hut and one of the Italian ones that has approximately as much traffic on attractive location as Tičarjev dom

I apologize for forgetting also two huts that were successfully privatized: - Štuhčev dom on Pohorje - Mencingerjeva koča below Črna prst Best regards to all.

Not surprised by this... PD Postojna got itself heavily indebted in the renovation of Vojkova koča on Nanos. Final figure was actually... quite different from initial estimate and approved funds in the European tender.

You are right. PZS as co-owners of Vojkova koča contributed 5.000,00€. Pardon- they just lent it to them.
