Rušnati vrh 1869m

Hello!
Since there is too little snow in our areas for some long ski run I went looking for it in the Tolmin hills. With car to pl. Podkuk where I park before the national park barrier. I carry skis to (locally) Močile. Then I harness the dogs and with them along the snow-covered cart track towards pl. Razor and into the slopes of lower Bohinj mountains. In the basin below Meja I turn right into the slope, which gradually steepens. I carefully check the snow cover. At the end the slope and deep snow are too much. So I swap skis for crampons and ice axe. Of course it goes easier. At the top I photograph everything possible. After a short rest I prepare and ski down the way of arrival. I must write that both Meja and Globoko were already skied on previous days.
LP and safe in the mountains!

Afternoon above pl. Razor towards Rušnati vrh and Meja. First on dry steep terrain, then up snow-covered gully to ridge. Continuation along fairly dry ridge to both summits. Went no further and returned to point where I descended into crumbly/snowy gully. Lower down all the way on snow to marked path and back to start.

Probably a mistake in the title, Rušnati vrh at 1915m.

Hello!

I must explain the stated elevation as in the title. I got the data from the map: Julijske Alpe eastern part, 4th revised edition 1981 PZS, ČGP-Delo print. Also: mountaineering guide, Mihelič-Petkovšek-Strojin, Julijske Alpe 3rd revised edition, Planinska založba Slovenije 1985. Thanks for understanding.

Best regards and safe in the mountains!
