Rope and shoes

Greetings!
Lately I've been going to the mountains more and more and trying more demanding paths, and I'm interested in a few things.
What kind of rope is suitable that I can use in various situations, e.g. tie another person or a child to myself.. what should the thickness be, static/dynamic and length in the case of one or two people besides me on the rope.
The other thing I'm interested in are shoes. Currently I have high hiking boots of the brand Alpina, but they are too clumsy for me on technically more demanding parts, so I'm thinking about buying low shoes. What are the advantages/disadvantages, what are your experiences?
Best regards

Guide's rope will suffice for all your needs:

PS. Besides the rope you'll need quite some gear: slings, cords, carabiners...

Janez, you forgot to mention that he will primarily need some knowledge about using the mentioned equipment.

We have this at home: http://www.kibuba.com/plezalna-oprema/vrvi/enojne/vodniska-vrv-edelrid-confidence-8-0-30m
You just need someone to teach you, my brother also did the alpine school.
For footwear it's best to try as much hiking footwear as possible.
