Prisank, Jubilee Path.
I'm interested in the condition of snow patches and protections on this path. If anyone has been around there recently, I'd appreciate info.

Thanks and best,

Ridge path is dry, the Slovenian one still has some snow patches. Jubilee path through Zadnje Prisojnikovo okno is still snowy. In the First window there is a small rockfall and snow.

I was there on sunday (August the 2nd) snow only inside the Zadnje Okno, no problems at all. The way is free and fantastic.

Why drive to Vršič when you can start lower right at the 29th hairpin of the Vršič road. Then go on the nice path to Kranjska planina where you join the Vršič - Mlinarica trail, then up under and through Zadnje okno, which pulled quite a bit as no one closed it. Followed traversing ledges and small ledges to Prisojnik, from the col a short ascent to the summit, logbook and back down the south path, then down to Kranjska planina and the 29th hairpin. Nice tour for, as Brane said this morning, the last warm September day. Does anyone believe him?

Beautiful hike, less frequented, nobody has written about it here for a long time. Today after seven years we went up it again from Vršič to the Razor fork and then Jubilee through the last window, under the Bells to the top. In the first three hours we met no one, then just a few people from the summit. Summit packed, gathered from all quarters and all approaches. Very nice, scenic and of course demanding path, especially the descent requires a secure step, vertigo is forbidden. Path and gear in good condition, if you have some experience on secured paths, I strongly recommend it. Helmet mandatory due to falling rocks, self-belaying for anyone not fully confident, and even otherwise it's not superfluous. You know, you don't have to do something wrong yourself, someone else might, and meeting on these paths is safer if you're clipped in. Return via the Slovenian path and yeah, hot. So what, it won't last long. As Velkavrh said recently: mornings are magical, you just have to get up... Jubilee to Prisojnik too, you just have to go.

We also mistakenly went towards Jubilee instead of Slovenian today... We missed it... Chamois distracted us while watching them and we missed the left turn. Nice path, well protected at least the part we didnasmeh

Prisojnik (Hanzova) - Last Window - Razor (22.05.20)

Conditions on Hanzova were well described by Filip, not much to add. Ground conditions great. Traversed right to NW wall and up still snowy couloir to ridge path junction. To summit on it. Path leads to snowy traverses, bad snow no go here, good today. Take time for all this, especially caution. Down window to below wall, leave packs. Up to Razor. Conditions very good, middle flank still nicely snowy possible. Many ask about chimney if snowy. How can vertical rock be snowy? No issues. Down and south path to Vršič. Really nice day.

On Saturday 19.9.2020 I walked from Pogačnikov dom to Vršič via Jubilee. On path from Planja saddle down to Škrbina marks faded, sparse in this direction. Caution for orientation if unknown. Jubilee itself not so bad, though officially closed due to damaged gear. Some pegs broken here/there, ropes reliable. Rockfall from ceiling in Last Window damaged some protections, but passage easy. Further some broken pegs, but embedded ones solid.
Not for vertigo-prone, but one of more interesting ferratas here.

Hi! Wondering if Jubilee is normally passable (pegs and cables fixed). Somewhere says closed, elsewhere open.

Adding a similar question for the connection between Prisojnik and Planja saddle (SPP). In the maPZS app it's been marked as closed for a long time/still is, but here I recently saw fresh trip reports from there.

Those few pegs from the recent description were of course not repaired, the trail is also quite overgrown.

Best regards. On Sunday I'd go up Kopiščarjeva to Prisojnik and return via Jubilejna back to Vršič. I'm most interested in the Jubilejna trail, any new info on whether it's open or closed. Thanks.
