Since there was no time for anything more I drove up the new road to planina Krnica, then up the path all the way to Prevala and a bit further to sedlo Golovec. I descended back to Prevala and back to planina Krnica. After a week of rain the sun shone again, and the new snow is already glistening in the mountains.

Nice pictures.
But does anyone know when the connection between Kanin and Sella Nevea will be ready? It was said this season but the pics show they're still building, it won't happen.

A few more pics from western Kanin area, same day. Snow above 2200 plenty, occasional avalanches rumbling. Gave up Kanin summit, measured snow depth instead. Station D exactly 45 cm, screes under Hudi Vršič - Kanin ridge 50-60 cm.
