In dry conditions, when the road from Stara Fužina to Vogar is passable, visiting Vodični Vrh Pasture is a very short hike. Currently there's really little snow , actually it only starts on the pasture itself somewhere above 1400m. The road is currently extremely icy so we started the tour above Stara Fužina via Vogar. The path to Vogar is dry as dust. Some ice only on the flat between the monument and the hut, which was open today. Above the hut we crossed the road and the signpost directed us up the hill towards Vodični Vrh Pasture. The first part is quite steep. Soon we reached a short flat, crossed a muddy gully and headed into the next steep section too. Snow only appeared towards the top. A short test on the crust showed it doesn't hold, so we stuck to the trampled path. At the top you need to watch not to miss the pasture . The path splits into two and the left one leads to the pasture. About 10 huts on the pasture, we were pleased they all kept the original antique shape. No views from the pasture sadly, surrounded by spruce forest. A stone's throw NW we found a nice viewpoint to Blato pasture, Krstenica and Triglav range. The tour can be continued to Jezero pasture, but tired of the fog we see daily in the valley, we chose return on the same sunny path. Easy and doable even in not too deep snow. We two also climbed to Vodični Vrh Pasture yesterday via Vogar. The tour seemed excellent to us because there's immense peace - we met no one. But some caution is needed not to miss the turnoffs.
