I set off on skis only at noon. By car to the former border crossing Učja and another about 2.5 km further towards Planina Božca. On this section there's a groomed sledding track. Then on skis along the road all the way to the pasture, the aim was the top of Breginjski Stol, but it was blowing so hard from NW that I lost the will to continue. It holds well on the road, there are some holes in between, you know from whom, which actually don't bother much. Summit part windblown to hard partially frozen snow, road conditionally enjoyable for skiing. It'll be better when more snow falls. View quite nice, especially on nearby mountains above Soča.

Nice weather no, pictures accordingly, but I'm wondering if the sled track is open to everyone, or only for guided sledding, mainly interested if you can sled with your own sleds (like from Ljubelj)

18.02.2022. They don't say for nothing that hope dies last. In January we turned back on this path. Yesterday repeated via interesting path from Srpenica. At 364m start walking past Sušec stream. Then to Korita. Up to there it was dry. Path not marked. Now with snow good to have navigation. Higher more new and old snow. It was crusting. Walking in it somewhat harder. Nice weather till noon. At Planina Božca 1370m started clouding. Fox peeked from snow and headed other side. Better snow would take another hour to Stol top. Decided to turn. Same path. On return met a local surprised how we know path from Srpenica. He chatted up. Steep paths. No shortcuts. Definitely return.
