Since Peralba also belongs to "Peaks of Friendship-60", I also wandered around here last year. From the parking lot, a bit before Rif. Sorgenti del Piave, I go to Calvi hut, climb up ferrata Sartor to the top and along the "papal" path towards Sesis saddle. From here I could descend back to the hut, but since there was still enough time, I go further to Cacciatore saddle. Then a short descent, left up the scree and snow to the nearby pass and left towards Avanze peak. I return the same way to Sesis pass and past the hut to the start. The watch tells me I could have crossed Pic Chiadenis too. Well, some other time.

Thanks matta. Friends for sure, especially in the mountains we must be friends. "60" finished last year, but that doesn't mean I won't return to already conquered peaks. (I mean abroad)

Well I don't know if I'm still matta's friend, but anyway, congrats, Marjeta and I saw that inscription on Sesis saddle years ago, then we decided for its neighbor and later again. Congrats on the ascent and I recommend Franzo.

No problem matta, in mid-summer my EP went and all titles too, including yours, so I sent PM, check top right, where left says: profile, middle: Private messages (if you get one it turns red) and right: My descriptions. We'll learn it all slowly, but still the most important is to climb some lonely peak in the Carnic Alps, which both of us like best, and no know-it-all sticks to your description, which happens to me occasionally. lp

First time in these parts early 80s, pics are from July 2007 when I climbed all three peaks in one day. Lp!

5.8.2020/After descending from Peralba we realized we were too fast and for the next point we add Pic Chiadenis, couldn't resist it. Very difficult tower, whose vertical south face rises above Rif. Calvi. Peralba mountain separates it from Seesis pass and it's definitely one of the most beautiful rock structures of the Carnic chain. Despite the nearby Peralba peak which is always crowded, solitude almost always reigns on Pic Chiadenis. Great and unusual panorama. After the ascent and descent via the unsecured path we head to Passo del Cacciatore and via the via ferrata Via di Guerra we climb to the top of Monte Chiadenis,,,we descended via the long and demanding southwest ferrata CAI Portogruaro. The summit itself can only be reached via ferrata, no other path,,good luck and lots of enjoyment.
