Palmanova is a beautiful old town, around which there is a rampart that long ago served to defend against mischief-makers of all sorts. Along this rampart runs a beautiful walking path, which is worth a visit in itself, with viewing the old town it all becomes a very pleasant outing. With the princess we walked around the town years ago, in pleasant company, today I just viewed the town or rode through it on my bike, before that I did a pleasant bike tour, during which I also cycled a bit in the Italian part of Goriška Brda, Collio. Both walking around the town and in it, and cycling in the surroundings, are worth it, even now and during winter, just no bora wind, and it's good nasmeh

Pleasant bike trip starting from Ajdovščina. Going there through Šempeter, Gorica, Koprivno and quite a few small towns and villages, back through Gradišče ob Soči, Komen, Bilje, Bukovica, Volčja Draga, etc. Weather gorgeous and clear, on the roads commendably little traffic, in many places memories for hours of sitting, not just a couple of minutes' rest. Palmanova, the old town center and walls, is really beautiful, always again. It was great, I'll definitely join similar trips velik nasmeh
