Geppo, you probably mean the seat, which has a built-in protector (foam) to cushion the impact on the ground in case of a possible failed takeoff and hard landing. I have an air protector that works like an inflatable bag with a hole that, when emptying quickly, doesn't release enough air and works as an air protector. It's smaller than the foam protector but equally effective on first contact (impact) with an obstacle. Reserve chute only the pilot has in his seat behind or aside and activates it with handle. Reserve chute is big enough for both and measures 64m2. If anyone still interested just write to me, I can also send pics. L.P. Klemen

Hats off to Klemen for flying from the mountains. As my colleague who has been paragliding for years says, carrying all the gear to the top is quite a small feat because of the weight. Anyway, it doesn't bother me if the videos appear on the hribi portal; it's nice to see how the mountains look from another perspective. Dude, just keep going.

Such weights aren't too bad to carry. The equipment I carry weighs 6 kg to which I add clothes, water, instruments, so it doesn't go over 9 kg. This gear is made for flying from mountains by the manufacturer http://www.kimfly.si/index.asp?selektiran=nuptse&jezik=slo and adapts perfectly to the mountain environment.
