Yeah, quite some time has passed since my last post. The last tour which I did in the Karnics is definitely worth posting. I start in the village Moggio Udinese on the bike and first go to Moggio Alto, from there soon riding onto the beautiful mulattiera no. 421. Yeah, really, this one is worth visiting with an MTB bike. The path nicely winds to the viewpoint at 912 meters below Cesaris peak, where it's worth stopping for a minute. Then follows a nice traverse to La Force, where there's also a small chapel. There I continue straight, still on path 421 towards the top of Monticello, where from the chapel there are still good 400 elevation meters. The nice path is rideable throughout, almost to the top, but a bit more demanding than to the previously mentioned viewpoint. On top nice views to peaks Creto Grauzario, Sernio, Chiavals, Zuc dal Bor, Amariano.... From the top back to La Force, then right onto path no. 420. This is the nicest part of the tour with a beautiful traverse to the village Borgo di Mezzo. The path is very exposed on some parts. From the village then on narrower gravel path 418 past village Morolz. Here starts steep descent to Moggesse di la and then also Moggesse di qua. The descent is almost entirely concreted. From Moggesse di qua onwards on path 418 and right behind the village to the marked MTB tour we turn right towards the stream, where then on nice path we descend into the canyon of Glagano river. Also here the path is very exposed on some parts. When we come to the river we have to cross it and continue on the right side to the bridge, where we ride over it and then throughout to the village we ride on the left side right above the river. Then we have left good 2 km asphalt to Moggio Udinese. The tour isn't somehow very scenic but the rideable surface such as an MTB rider can only wish for, such paths you find very few. The tour will surely enthuse all hardcore MTB cyclists and is almost 100% rideable. It is called Percorso in MTB il Troi dal Borgs.

This is one of my favorite tours. Ascent on beautiful mulattiera, descent isn't anything special though, but I like the villages and especially the last part when you ride along Glagno river. Especially in summer it's nice, when water is warm.

Now there's another passage from the bench to Glagno, so you avoid that concrete. True, you don't see the villages either. Check the maps at the end of the album.
Otherwise really nice, wild tour, for cyclists and hikers alike.

Yes really these paths I checked all possible. For the first time I chose this one. It's true, I learned about this tour right from your posts and some are really unbelievable bravo. Here you can see some of my tours but they are not so extreme as yours. https://plus.google.com/photos/101333870677713963076/albums

I'm glad it's visible from the descriptions which tour is suitable for whom. nasmeh
Extreme nasmeh, doesn't seem to us, we gradually got here where we are. If you don't engage in it a bit more seriously, then it probably really looks like that.

Next let it be Val Glagno http://mtbilegalc.blogspot.com/2013/07/val-glagno_3.html , actually nothing technically demanding, just need to take time. Cjasut dal Scior is also very nice.
