Monte Tinisa (Monte Pascul) - 2120m

Yesterday's visit to this part of the Carnic Alps.
The path is secured with cables in some places, which are very useful during the one-hour ridge crossing.
The ridge itself is sharp, cables in some places, mostly not. It's a combination of steep grass on the south side and crumbly rock on the north.
For the circular route we took cca 7 hours.

This time in the opposite direction than in 2008. From the parking lot along the road to the Tintini pasture, then along path 233 to the saddle below the western approach slope. Ascent to the western summit nothing special, new cables. We continued the crossing along the summit ridge, sometimes just below the ridge. Almost all exposed spots are secured with cables, so all the essence of this crossing is lost. From the eastern summit the path is also secured, years ago only the rock step on the north side was secured. We descended to the road connecting the parking and the pasture along an abandoned path.
From the quite demanding ridge only the wonderful views remain, but there won't be crowds there anyway and that's good.
