Monte Pacoi is an indistinct little hill, 1068 m high, hidden under Lopič opposite Monte Pisimonija. There are no official CAI paths to it; they lead only to the huts, then narrow paths marked with bolli rossi. With the princess we did a circular tour by climbing past Stavolo Ravorade to Stavolo Stivane and there took the path to Pacoi. Before that we climbed Monte Sflincis and Monte Stivane, two pathless viewless little peaks in the forest. The path from Stavolo Stivane to Monte Pacoi is steep, partly with fallen trees and hard to follow. You need to carefully follow the red markings on trees, as going "on your own" is at least more strenuous, if not harder. On Monte Pacoi there is nothing, no cross, no box, not even a stone man. A bit below it there is a nice grassy terrace with great views on the Zuc dal Bora group, Grauzario and Sernio, Pisimoni, Amariano, Val Aupa valley, the little place Možac... We descended the other side to Stavolo Verzan and from there back to the start. The descent is also marked only with red signs and there are also quite a few fallen trees on the path. This fallen stuff caused us no small trouble, as halfway to the hut we lost the path and continued "on our own". We barely managed all the off-path troubles.
