Luce Vuerich Trail - Traversing the Western Julian Alps

In the bivouac dedicated to the mentioned alpinist hangs a route plan in his memory, which makes a two-day loop across the entire main ridge of the Julian Alps and connects the ferratas Via Amalia, Leva, Ceria Merlone and Anita Goitan into a circular tour with start and finish in Zajzeri and overnight stay in the bivouac on Špik nad nosom. The first holiday weekend we managed to do it in two long days. Except for the unpleasant descent from Trbiška škrbina, the entire path is nicely passable. Does anyone know if anyone has already tried something similar? Nice mountain greetings.

Thanks for the link and also congrats to you for the nice tour. The whole path via Trbiška škrbina is still waiting for a repeat. Best regards

So you didn't do the whole path either... You're missing the whole via ferrata and the hardest part of the tour. Good luck

True, I preferred to descend the "easy" Northeast scree path . We'll try to squeeze in that extra hour. Via ferrata , where is any via ferrata

Apparently we really are the first who did it completely. Bravo us

Hehe...you made me laugh with your mischief Redbull. I mean of course what's in quotes, because self-praisers up here obviously don't know the difference between descent via Gola NE (NE debris) and the variant over Trbiška škrbina. best regards d
