Lomski Waterfall above Železniki

The Lomski waterfall is among the natural attractions of Škofja Loka tourism and until recently I didn't even know about it, hadn't heard a thing either. Not strange, as no markings lead to it, no signs at all. Apparently even Železniki locals don't know it well, though this stream's waters flow into Selščica in upper Železniki. Not long ago it was nameless too.
On tributaries of Selška and Poljanska Sora there aren't many waterfalls anyway, though plenty of gullies. So every waterfall counts . The stream where this waterfall forms emerges from under Štedel vrh, which I plan to climb sometime. Don't know the path though.
The stream at start from trailhead doesn't promise much, barely any water in it. After about 10 mins we reach a path fork, where you continue left and descend directly into the streambed, which you must cross several times or climb the gully itself, all visible. The gully is quite picturesque, but the waterfall much more so. The waterfall falls over a steep rock wall around 15 m deep. The atmosphere by it is pleasant, not gloomy, even in the gully.
On return we also headed along the path to Suša, which is a bit further from this starting point. Well, there it had already started raining, and it was easy to head home, having seen something new and quite mysterious.

grega, we two also went along the overgrown cart track further to the top of the waterfall, but that's because we initially missed it. A couple more pictures from there. We were looking if it was possible to descend directly into the gully from that path somewhere, but it seemed way too steep to us.
