Path: From Radeče - 194m a.s.l., length approx. 18 km, elevation gain: 754 m, Difficulty: from Radeče to Breg approx. 6 km - local road, gentle, a bit up a bit down, from village Breg first 2 km slightly uphill, then 10 km alternating slightly larger and smaller climbs, last km below summit relatively flat. Sign for 24% gradient in second part of ascent is more "for fear" than actually in practice.

Lisca is one of the more popular hills of Zasavje-Posavje hill range, asphalt road and several hiking paths (and since last year also modern 4-5 section via ferrata) lead to spacious and panoramic grassy summit. On top is weather station, large mountain hut and old cabin, surroundings also nicely arranged with recreational areas and playgrounds and practical picnic spots; in short nice, suitable also for family outings and kids.

If from LJ or elsewhere from central Slovenia, recommend slightly longer bike trip that you start from Hrastnik, at Glassworks in ind. zone Podkraj, large parking there. Narrow road along right bank of Sava not only cycling, but to Radeče (approx. 12 km) you will rarely meet a car. If in Austria, they would surely advertise as alpine - no Sava jewel and charge toll?! Another option for tour start in Radeče, easiest park at railway station, can arrive by train too. From Radeče to Breg local road along railway, left bank Sava, in between some nicely arranged smaller villages. Turnoff for Lisca (and Jurklošter) in Breg settlement well marked. When you start riding towards Lisca, soon reach junction where left branches road to Okroglice, right hiking signs for Lisca, on asphalt painted »start to Lisca«, this direction more usual uphill. Along more or less shady and winding road, Lisca hill shows in settlement »Lisce«, from there road bypasses hill left and circles from north and brings to summit from east (similar e.g. road from Cerknica to Slivnica).

For descent back recommend in village »Lisce« turn towards Razbor and via Okroglice, road nicer, scenic, sunnier and clearer and less traffic, along path more sights including two guesthouses. This circular extension ends at above junction before Breg village.
