Koroška Rinka, Skuta

On Saturday I plan to do a tour from the hut at Ledine to Koroška Rinka, then over Skuta and over Dolgi hrbet back to Češka koča. Any information about the path would be useful!!! Thanks

I estimate that the conditions are quite wintry (judging from afar). These paths are on the north side and it's likely to be icy as well.

Today I was in Kamnik-Savinja Alps and I can tell that on the north side snow starts from 1800m onwards. In places there's some ice too. Lp

I did this route myself (summer variant) a few years ago. HELMET IS MANDATORY!!!! The path from Ledin to Rinka goes through a fairly steep gully with lots of "gravel", so really be careful not to dislodge rocks.
The path to Skuta was maybe a bit more strenuous than it looked at first, but worth the effort.
Below Dolgi hrbet, especially descending to the scree above Češka koča, quite exposed to falling rocks, several times they whistled hard past my head.
Descent to Češka koča over scree which offers plenty of fun after a strenuous path. Walked approx. 7 hours.

Today I walked the route Jezersko (cargo cableway) - Ledine - Koroška rinka - Kranjska rinka - Skuta - Dolgi hrbet - Mlinarsko sedlo - Češka koča.
The path is well marked and excellently protected. No winter gear needed. Rest in pictures.

Over Žmavčarje to Rinke. Not exactly the right thread, but current conditions you can see.
Snow is little to bivouac under Skuta and unproblematic (OK on grasses it slips and takes energy and nerves nasmeh

). From there on from good decimeter to almost three. Quite unproblematic. In lower elevations it quickly decreases (there was noticeable difference between state on ascent and descent).
P.S. Temperatures were REALLY wintry.

On Sunday the Kamnik Alps were on the agenda again. I imagined doing a loop above Jezersko. Lower station of cargo cableway - Kranjska koča - Koroška Rinka - Skuta - Mlinarsko sedlo - Češka koča - cableway.
For whoever finds too many pics, please politely ignore them.

Since my better half is completing SPP, we did a loop above Jezersko on Thursday and Friday. From the nicely arranged parking lot we headed to Kranjska hut on Ledine, where a thunderstorm caught us just before the hut, so we spent a good 2 hours with the friendly keeper and two more hikers who got really soaked. When it cleared we went to Koroška Rinka and Skuta, then descended to Cojzova hut, where we overnighted. On Friday Grintovec - Jezerska Kočna - Češka hut - Lower station of the cargo cableway.
Surprisingly few hikers on the whole route since on Thursday we met no one until Cojzova hut.
