Yesterday (Thursday, 18 November) from Krma past Prgarce and under Kurica to Horse Saddle, along the cross path under Vrh Snežne konte and over Ulice back to the valley.

Morning, still in the dark, was foggy, sad and damp. First snow at Malo polje, on south-facing slopes up to the height of Ulice it has melted. Under Kurica across the steeper section it was dry, lots of coarse scree as usual there. Above the slope there were about 10 cm of fairly frozen snow, but doable without crampons. At temperatures lower than yesterday's, I'd probably have put them on. Further to Horse Saddle conditions were similar. At the saddle blue sky, pleasant sun rays and nice views appeared to me.

From the saddle I traversed right along the middle path, south-facing slopes under Snežna konta were quite dry, only paths were snowy. From the edge of Ulice I was quickly at Prgarci. On descent a hiker overtook me who came from Triglav summit. Nice at the top, winter gear mandatory of course.

Approximately at Malo polje I sank back into foggy dampness. Road between Kurja vas and Lesa is drivable, some deeper drainage ditches slow the car a bit.
Damp and foggy in the forest below Vrtača.1
There is some snow on Mali polje.2
Prgarca, as cute as always. Is the distinct peak above it perhaps Oklo (2092 m)?3
First signs of clearing just below Konjsko sedlo.4
The paths are mostly snowy. With more frost, it could be tricky.5
Mali Draški vrh, behind Viševnik and to the right Veliki Draški vrh.6

The fog has begun to lift.8

Rock beside the path below Vrtača. How did it get there without damaging the dwarf pines? Snow slip?11

The rock in picture 11 was in May "on" snow in the avalanche deposit.... so the snow avalanche brought it there.

It seemed so to me. The rock surface looks freshly broken off, but still I wasn't sure if it's from this year.
Thanks!
