I've also been planning to go here for a long time. Thanks for the description and pics. Definitely in spring. lp

The path starts at the parking lot on the right side of the road if you're driving downhill from Blok; it's marked with a blue line on a wooden post. If you continue downhill before the village of Podklanec, there's another sign for Kadice, a narrow road off to the right... I didn't explore it, but surely a loop is possible. But better wait for spring, now there's still lots of snow and it's hard to pass. LpLj

@ Lj, that "wooden post" is a Roman milestone with white-blue bicolour marking and it is placed on the route of the former Claustra Alpina Iulia (folk Roman wall). This barrier wall was built in the 3rd century and ran from Trsat across Inner Carniola (Kadice) across Rutar plateau to Hrušica, Logatec or Vrhnika. Such milestones were placed at intervals of one Roman mile (ca. 1479m) which is 1000 double long steps of a Roman soldier.

@Laščan thanks for the correction and interesting explanation. I think I saw one like that near Kobilji curek waterfall under Rutarska plateau too.

You definitely saw it, and on Rutarska plateau they are placed too and some have signs with descriptions!

Yesterday my husband and I went from Bloke towards Sodražica and stopped here. We turned to the gorge at the beginning of Podklanec village, where there's also a signpost. We parked at the parking lot with a board about the gorge. Nicely marked path leads along the stream uphill. Even though there's little water now, it was still nice. Worth seeing!

Currently access by car is a bit harder - from Sodražica towards Bloke the main road is closed, but you can detour via Globel, then just a little left on the "prohibited" road and turn left to the parking. Currently enough water for a nice view. At the start they seem to have built a new wooden footbridge (not yet weathered).
