I'm curious about the conditions on Jež (ridge from Zvoh towards Vrh Korena), because I'm going to Kalški greben from Krvavec on Sunday and I don't know if that path is dry. Thanks for the reply Franci!

On the summit part of Kalški ridge it's white, below 2000m no. With good poles, you'll get to the top. LP-Rok.

Today, on 28.9. it was still a bit wet below the summit of K. ridge - snow only under the pines anymore - tomorrow probably not even there and dry.

Yesterday, 6.9. after work by car from Kamnik, and via Sidraž towards Krvavec. Road from the other side (Cerkelj) is closed. Drive in intoxicating autumn colors! nasmeh Park on Kriška planina. Across planina Koren to Vrh Korena. Weather crystal clear, view of Grintovci dreamy. Across Ježek to Zvoh. Path dry, on shorter sections just some snow crumbs (for sample). Secured notch dry, ascent back to ridge muddy. Descent past the tower towards Dom na Krvavcu, admiring sunset behind Julijci... nasmeh
To car like lightning.

Yes, the pictures are really fantastic. And what annoys me most is that I also did the same tour this year, just in the opposite direction, and there was fog, we saw nothing. Same places, but such a difference because of the weather. Hard to believe or come to terms with what views I missed.

But they'll wait.nasmeh

On Saturday after work past Medvedje jame over Jež.

Early summer conditions: here and there still a snow patch, no problem, flowers in full bloom, thunderstorms rumbling in the distance.
