Hut on Mangart Saddle - Rifugio Zacchi

Hello
I wonder if there is a way between Slovenia and Italy in the area of
Mangart. I want to go from Koča na Mangartskem sedlu to Rifugio Zacchi in Italy.
If you have any recommendations for that area, they will be welcome.

Starting from "Koča na Mangartskem sedlu" I see two possibilities.

1 -Bivacco "Fratelli Nogara" - (517-513)

2- Forcella della Lavina (516)

I like the first more because it seems to have better views and passes through the "Rifugio Zacchi". We do not carry
via ferrata equipment.

Does anyone know the route? Does it involve via ferrata? Can there be ice on July 20? eek

In early July there can still be some snow, but you never know what it will be like.

The route via Mangart pass through Valle della Lavina to Rifugio Zacchi is not very nice, steep, gravel. But it's easy, not technical.

It's better to go from Mangarska planina to Mangart pass and back. And then go around with a car to the lakes and from there to Rifugio Zacchi.
