There is no topic in the health area, 2 years ago we bought a blood pressure monitor at home. Today I measured it 6x, according to instructions and I have 117/70 and heart rate 50, afternoon 55.
What values do the others have, 4 years ago I had 170/95.

For me some years ago every other week after 13:00 a haze appeared before my eyes and lasted a whole eight hours. When I retired this nuisance miraculously disappeared. By the way I worked in a mine.velik nasmeh

LG, current values show intense sports activity especially low pulse. But I don't understand what you did 4 years ago. Too many rollies? velik nasmeh

LG, don't fall for those home blood pressure monitors. My late grandma had one at home too and it showed different every minute. Anomalies were quite higheek, so we laughed heartily about it.velik nasmehnasmeh We even made up diagnoses ourselves.velik nasmeh

We bought the meter at www.sanolabor.si and after several measurements the results are about the same. Some athletes have it even 35-40/minute.

Maybe four years ago a cute nurse was measuring your blood pressure!?

Hi!

Ljubitelj gora, your values are excellent by my lay opinion. If I compare myself to you, we have approximately the same BP, just my pulse is a bit lower (36-40 bpm, if the device isn't lying of course). I'm 28 years old, don't drink coffee, don't overdo alcohol and don't eat fatty. A bit of prevention. Otherwise don't worry about it we'll rather do it in old age if we reach them. Unless of course you have some disease. Then it's good to monitor those figures and be up to date.

Good luck.

...oh just saw it now. Today is World Health Day and this year's theme is high blood pressure. Just for info. I think visitors to this site mostly don't have problems with it, but it's good to know these data a bit, for better feeling. Otherwise moderation in everything and there shouldn't be problems.

Best regards

That measurements vary at different measurements is normal. Blood pressure should be measured 2x. First you calm down as much as possible and measure it first time. Then wait a minute and measure again. And that second value should be more accurate, but I usually look at the average of measurements. Also important that at least a few minutes before you didn't eat or drink, also not good if you need to pee during measurement, because that raises pressure. Also when you come to health center it's smart to sit for a few minutes and calm down before measuring pressure. Trouble arises if you have "white coat syndrome or a cute nurse measures your pressurevelik nasmeh.
At home it's important to have a quality pressure monitor and not some cheap variant. Actually the best are those when you measure yourself with stethoscope. Also worth taking devices to service from time to time to calibrate them.
As for values they are textbook from LG. (mine for example around 110/70 and pulse around 60. Years ago resting pulse was also under 50, about eight years ago pressure was also 200 and over).
In short it's worth being careful with blood pressure and I think everyone should have a pressure monitor at home and measure it occasionally.

@Ljubitelj gora, the song you brought is a few days older than you. While listening to this song, you would recognize Majčika already at the first meeting.
Yeah yeah, the heart just flutters and doesn't calm down easily.

For treating this weather depression weighing on us for some time I escaped today to the coast to Glinščica valley.
Gentle breeze and sun rays, murmur of water and light spray of water at the waterfall in the middle of the valley all this really positively affects the moodeek
Above the valley I meet a young roe deer who hasn't taken off winter pants yet still has white patches on his rear, he also doesn't mind old signs where the border between I and SLO runs.
Considering Monday still quite a few Trieste visitors mainly mountain bikers on the railway track trail.
