Grušnica above Tolminske Ravne

Up to Grušnica from Tolmin Plains, at the top already visible on the Migovec slope how mists rise, fall, indicating approaching storm. The forecast was no storms here, even asked a weather guy. Soon thunder started towards Krn and it got darker, descend to pasture and shelter under roof. Thundering, since all quiet you get scared at "boom" some rain, one foreigner came to pasture, took hidden key and went to better hut with kitchen. When calmed I quickly descend, but in lower forest rain caught me, umbrella didn't help much. Just before Tolm.Plains thunderstorm rages but I'm almost at car, water everywhere, that road over meadow 15cm water. In car wait a bit, lightning flashing like , road like river max wiper speed barely visible. But I know the road, in Tolmin dry. Then it started raining there too. Since back early to valley I drive over Oblakov vrh and try Vrhovec, but after 5 min walk with umbrella also there starts raining and thundering. Go back and drive to Ski Cerkno and there also raining and thundering.

That foreigner was most likely one of the English cavers who every year at this time explore Migovec and Tolmin cavers generously "lend" them the hut. Too bad there was no Tolmin caver around, he would have gladly offered you better  shelter and tea.

Not only Englishmen, also from elsewhere, at least last time they were. Cavers use the middle hut, on the right is shelter in case of storms, what's in the left one I don't know.
